The weevils are not easy to control as their relatively hard outer bodies make it hard to penetrate with insecticides.

TREATMENT

Spray first with a mild soap solution to soften the outer body and then spray with a concentrated Systemic insecticide. Always spray in the evening when weevil emerges to feed.
